[Abstract] Objective: To explore the clinical effect of Sertraline combined with psychotherapy on patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and anxiety and depression. Methods: Hospital cases were collected from June 2020 to June 2022, and 100 AMI patients with anxiety and depression were enrolled. Based on the "random number table method", they were divided into the control group and the observation group. They were treated with psychotherapy and psychotherapy+Sertraline, and 50 patients were included in each group; Observe and compare the psychological emotions, sleep quality, heart function, and quality of life between the two groups. Result: After treatment, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group had lower scores (P<0.05); After treatment, the scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in both groups were lower, and the scores in the observation group were lower (P<0.05); After treatment, the left ventricular Ejection fraction (LVEF), stroke volume (SV) and Cardiac output (CO) of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05); After treatment, the SF-36 scores of both groups showed a certain degree of increase, and the increase in the observation group was greater than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Sertraline combined with psychotherapy for AMI patients with anxiety and depression can significantly improve the degree of anxiety and depression, improve the quality of sleep, play an active role in the recovery of cardiac function, and achieve the intervention goal of improving the quality of life and improving the prognosis.
