Objective: Clinical effect of root canal therapy for acute pulpitis complicated with periapical pulp disease. Methods：In this study, 120 patients with acute pulpitis complicated with periapical pulp were diagnosed and treated in the stomatology department of our hospital from May 2021 to May 2022. According to the difference of treatment methods, they were divided into root canal group and drug group, with 60 cases in each group. Sixty patients in the root canal group were treated with oral root canal therapy, and the other 60 patients in the drug group were treated with common drugs. Finally, the treatment situation was compared. Results：After comparing the treatment effect and pain degree between the drug group and the root canal group, the comprehensive quality effect of the root canal group was better. Conclusion：In order to alleviate the pain of patients with acute pulpitis complicated with periapical pulp as soon as possible, root canal therapy with better therapeutic effect should be selected. Because it can relieve the pain faster and help patients recover the masticatory function, it can be popularized in the clinical treatment of stomatology department.
