Objective: To study the clinical effect of pregabalin and intradermal injection on acute herpes zoster pain and postherpetic neuralgia. Methods: 48 patients with acute herpes zoster pain and postherpetic neuralgia were randomly selected from October 2021 to October 2022 in our hospital, and the patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group by drawing lots. The patients in the control group were treated by intradermal injection, and the patients in the observation group were treated by combination of pregabalin and intradermal injection. After a certain period of treatment, the pain, sleep and pain relief time of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the pain score and sleep score of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. At the same time, the duration of pain relief and pain disappearance of the patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the patients in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with acute herpes zoster pain or clinically confirmed post herpetic neuralgia, the combination of pregabalin and intradermal injection has a positive effect on reducing the pain feeling of patients, improving the sleep quality of patients, and the pain relief time of patients is lower.
