Objective To explore the efficacy and value of valsartan combined with amlodipine in the treatment of hypertension with diabetes in the community. Methods The study period was from June 2021 to June 2022. 100 patients with hypertension and diabetes in our hospital were selected and divided into the study group (valsartan combined with amlodipine) and the control group (amlodipine). The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed. After treatment, the blood pressure control levels of the two groups of patients were significantly improved, but the improvement in the study group was even better, P<0.05; The treatment effectiveness rate of patients in the study group was higher than that of patients in the control group, P<0.05; After treatment, the blood sugar levels of the two groups of patients were significantly improved, but the improvement in the study group was even better, P<0.05; After treatment, the levels of urea nitrogen, blood uric acid, and serum cystatin C in both groups of patients were significantly improved, but the improvement in the study group of hypertensive patients was even better, P<0.05. Conclusion Valsartan combined with amlodipine can effectively control the blood pressure level of patients with hypertension and diabetes in the community. The clinical treatment effect is ideal and can be popularized in clinical practice.
