Objective To analyze the role of PDCA circulation nursing management method in the management of disinfection supply room. Methods The research was carried out in the way of comparative observation. In May 2021, the PDCA cycle management method was applied in the daily management of the disinfection and supply room of our hospital, and the management effect within one year before and after the implementation was analyzed. Results The qualified rate of instrument sample cleaning, packaging quality, sterilization quality, timeliness of distribution and the qualified rate of hand hygiene of Chinese medical staff during the operation were higher after the implementation than before, P<0.05. Compared with the awareness of medical staff on management and service, active service, security and self-protection, the awareness after implementation was higher than that before implementation, P<0.05. Conclusion The application of PDCA management model in the management of the disinfection supply room can effectively improve the quality of work in this area, enhance the comprehensive quality and ability of medical staff in the disinfection supply room, and increase their nursing satisfaction.
