Objective: To evaluate the application value of cardiac ultrasound in the diagnosis of chronic heart failure and the evaluation of cardiac function. Method: 72 patients with chronic heart failure were included in the study group, and another 72 healthy individuals were selected to be included in the control group. The ultrasound diagnostic parameters and NT proBN values of patients with different levels of chronic heart failure, the control group, and the study group were compared. Result: There were 22 patients with chronic heart failure in grade IV, 25 patients with grade III, and 25 patients with grade I and II. The left ventricular diameter, NT proBNP, HFEI, and left ventricular end diastolic diameter of grade IV patients were higher than those of grade III, grade I, and grade II, and the left ventricular ejection fraction of grade IV was lower than that of grade III, grade I, and grade II (P<0.05). Compared with the two groups of NT proBNP, HFEI, left ventricular end diastolic and left ventricular diameter, the study group showed a higher score, while the study group showed a lower left ventricular ejection fraction (P<0.05). Conclusion: In the diagnosis of chronic heart failure, cardiac ultrasound has a high value as it can reflect the patients cardiac function.
