Objective To study the effect of group psychological nursing mode on patients undergoing bladder perfusion chemotherapy after urethral resection of bladder tumor. Methods From January 2022 to December 2022, 90 patients were treated with bladder perfusion chemotherapy after resection of urethral and bladder tumors. The control group included 45 patients who were treated with basic nursing services. The intervention group included 45 patients who were treated with group psychological nursing on the basis of basic nursing services. The nursing effect and application value of different schemes were compared. Results Before nursing, there was no difference between the two groups in physical and mental health scores (P>0.05). After nursing, the patients in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group in terms of physical and mental health scores (P<0.05). The scores of patients in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group in terms of positive treatment attitude, regular exercise, and timely and quantitative medication (P<0.05). Conclusion The group psychological nursing model is effective in clinical application, suitable for bladder perfusion chemotherapy after urethral resection of bladder tumor, and can ensure their psychological health.
