Objective To explore the specific therapeutic effect of Yangxue Gushen Tang on lumbar disc herniation. Methods 49 patients who came to our hospital from March 2019 to July 2022 for treatment of lumbar disc herniation were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group of 24 cases, a study group of 25 cases, a control group treated with Western medicine, and a study group treated with Yangxue Gushen Tang for patients with lumbar disc herniation, Compare the levels of IL-6 factor in the serum of two groups of patients after treatment, and compare the activity and VAS scores of the two groups of patients. Results showed that the concentration of IL-6 and other inflammatory factors in the serum of the study group after treatment was lower than that of the control group, with a significant decrease. The VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation with Yangxue Gushen decoction can reduce the concentration of serum inflammatory factors, reduce inflammation, improve the occurrence of adverse symptoms, effectively suppress the pain caused by the disease, improve the patients limb mobility, and have good therapeutic effects, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
