Objective: To study the effect of pain management in orthopedic trauma. Methods: This study needs to select trauma and orthopedics patients, the number of cases is 62, and the period of inclusion is from February 2020 to September 2020. In order to improve the effect of the research, the group-based result analysis was used. Patients were divided into observation group (n=31 cases) and control group (n=31 cases). Different groups used different nursing strategies. The control group used conventional management methods. Patients in the observation group adopt pain management. During the study period, nursing staff need to do a good job of recording, focusing on recording the patients pain score, hospital stay and nursing satisfaction. Results: The pain score of orthopedic trauma patients in the observation group who used pain management was 3.25±1.21 points, which was lower than the pain score of 5.87±2.03 points in the control group. There was a significant difference between the groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: In order to relieve the pain of patients, this study needs to select trauma and orthopedic patients for pain management. The results show that the pain degree of patients is significantly reduced, the hospitalization time is effectively shortened, and the nursing satisfaction is significantly improved. It can be used in clinical promotion.
