Objective To analyze the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention in patients with acute pyelonephritis. Methods 76 patients with acute pyelonephritis admitted to our hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the subjects of this study, and were randomly divided into a conventional group (38 cases, conventional nursing) and an observation group (38 cases, traditional Chinese medicine nursing). Comparative analysis was conducted on the TCM syndrome scores and satisfaction evaluation of nursing services before and after nursing intervention between the two groups. Results (1) There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before nursing intervention (P>0.05), but after nursing intervention, the TCM syndrome scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the conventional group (P<0.05）; (2) The evaluation of patients satisfaction with nursing services in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the clinical nursing of patients with acute pyelonephritis, carrying out traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention can quickly improve or eliminate the symptoms of the disease, promote the prognosis of the patient, and thereby achieve an ideal nursing evaluation.
