Objective To analyze the application and experience of telephone return visit in the health education of discharged gynecological patients. Methods The data of patients who received gynecological diagnosis and treatment services from our hospital from June 2022 to August 2022 were analyzed, and 126 qualified discharged patients were selected as the subjects for study. 63 patients in the control group and 63 patients in the experimental group were randomly divided into two groups, and they were given routine discharge guidance, routine discharge guidance+telephone return visit respectively, to evaluate the patients compliance score and nursing satisfaction, and to clarify the respective application value of the two groups of nursing programs. Results Compared with the control group, the level of each index in the experimental group had obvious advantages in terms of patient compliance score and nursing satisfaction, and the difference between the indexes was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Telephone return visit is an effective out-of-hospital nursing method, which can provide more detailed and targeted health education for patients discharged from gynecology department, strengthen patients cognition, improve their compliance, and timely solve various problems affecting patients physical and mental health, with higher satisfaction, social and economic benefits, and ideal application and promotion value.
