Abstract
Objective To explore and analyze the effect of standardized community management mode on the management of discarded needles in patients with home insulin injection. Methods A total of 300 cases of diabetes mellitus treated with home-based insulin injection were selected from January 2021 to January 2022. The 300 patients were randomly divided into control and observation groups. The control group adopts the routine management mode; the observation group adopts the community standardized management mode. Comparison of insulin needle recovery in control group and observation group; knowledge of home medical waste. Results After management intervention, the comparison of the control group, with P <0.05. Conclusion The intervention of community standardized management mode for patients with home insulin injection can effectively improve the recovery rate of discarded insulin needles, and the awareness rate of patients home medical waste related knowledge, which is worth further promotion and application.
