Objective To analyze the nursing effect of implementing standardized process nursing for patients with advanced cancer pain. Method A total of 92 late stage tumor patients admitted to our hospital during the study period from March 2022 to May 2023 were selected. They were divided into a control group of 46 cases and an observation group of 46 cases according to different treatment methods. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received standardized process care. The quality of life and sleep of the two groups of patients were compared. Result The quality of life of the patients in the observation group was evaluated better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). At the same time, in terms of sleep quality score, the observation group was also better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Standardized process nursing is of great significance for late stage cancer patients, as it can improve their quality of life while also improving their sleep conditions. The advantages are obvious and worthy of application.
