Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing on children with allergic purpura accompanied by abdominal pain. Method 90 children with allergic purpura accompanied by abdominal pain admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group (n=45 cases, receiving routine care) and an experimental group (n=45 cases, receiving traditional Chinese medicine care) according to the random number table method. Compare the regression time, frequency of abdominal pain, relief time of abdominal pain, and quality of life between the two groups of purpura. Result The regression time, frequency of abdominal pain, and relief time of purpura in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); At the same time, the quality of life scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the data comparison showed statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing traditional Chinese medicine nursing for children with allergic purpura accompanied by abdominal pain can promote the relief of abdominal pain and improve their quality of life.
