Objective To explore the effect of comfort care and improvement of patients with reflux esophagitis. Methods 100 patients with reflux esophagitis admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology during 2022. Two groups were designed by the random number table method. The control group, with 50 patients, underwent routine care. The observation group, 50 patients, underwent comfort care. Comparing: (1) the symptom improvement time. (2) The symptom score. (3) Psychological emotions. (4) Quality of life. (5) Satisfaction rate. Results (1) In the time of symptom improvement, the improvement time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P <0.05). (2) In the symptom score, the scores of reflux, vomiting and heartburn in the observation group were higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). (3) In the psychological emotions, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). (4) In QoL, the QoL score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). (5) The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the nursing of reflux esophagitis, comfortable nursing can promote the improvement of patients symptoms, improve their quality of life, relieve negative emotions, and have higher patient satisfaction, which is worth promoting.
