Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Erfukang liniment on insect bite dermatitis, and to provide basis for clinical treatment of insect bite dermatitis. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 94 patients with insect bite dermatitis who were treated in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into Erfukang liniment group (n=47) and routine group (n=47). Patients in the routine group were smeared with desonide cream twice a day, and patients in the Erfukang liniment group were smeared with Erfukang liniment three times a day. Patients in both groups were intervened for 7 days. After 7 days, the treatment effect, recurrence and treatment satisfaction were compared. Results The total effective rate of patients with insect bite dermatitis in Erfukang liniment group was significantly higher than that in routine group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the recurrence of insect bite dermatitis between Erfukang liniment group and routine group (P > 0.05). The treatment satisfaction of patients with insect bite dermatitis in Erfukang liniment group was significantly higher than that in routine group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Erfukang liniment has obvious therapeutic effect on insect bite dermatitis, and can obviously improve the treatment satisfaction of childrens families. Erfukang liniment is simple and economical to use, and is suitable for clinical promotion and treatment.
