Objective To analyze the effect of pain nursing on comfort and quality of life in elderly patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods 84 cases of elderly patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were selected and divided into two groups according to the difference of nursing practice. The experiment time was from 2022.07 to 2023.4, among them, 42 cases were divided into the control group and 42 cases were divided into the observation group, the psychological status, quality of daily life, pain, lumbar range of motion, comfort, satisfaction and other indicators were compared. Results before nursing, there was no significant difference in the values of psychological status, pain and lumbar range of motion (P & GT; 0.05). After nursing, all of them were improved, and the improvement in the observation group was more significant (P & LT; 0.05). The quality of life indexes of the participants were higher in the Observation Group (P & LT; 0.05). The satisfaction was higher in the Observation Group (97.62%) than in the control group (P & Lt; 0.05). Conclusion The special nursing for the elderly patients with lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion pain in clinical work has a significant effect on comfort and quality of life, at the same time can promote the patients psychological state, body pain improvement, patients have a higher degree of satisfaction with its clinical value of extensive use.
