Objective To summarise the clinical experience of combination medication in the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcers (RAU). Methods Two hundred study subjects were selected as patients who voluntarily accepted the combination of medications for the treatment of aphthous ulcers and were reviewed on time, and none of them had a history of drug allergy. There were 89 males and 111 females aged 15-68 (34.88±9.45) years. All the patients were graded according to the pain scale as slight pain, more pain, and very pain, which were slight pain in group A, more pain in group B, and very pain in groups C, E, and D. There were 40 patients in each group. The comparison of general information such as age, gender, number of ulcers and area of patients in each group was not significant (P>0.05). According to the RAU pain degree of severity of reasonable and effective use of different strength of the combination of drug effect, that is, the treatment of oral ulcers of drugs in accordance with the intensity of the grouping method of combined use: pain relieving and anti-inflammatory drugs + ulcer surface healing drugs + supplemental vitamins + clean mouth mouthwash. Results The results of this study show that the symptomatic and rational combination of drugs for the treatment of aphthous ulcer has a very important clinical significance. Conclusion In order to avoid duplication of medication, topical medication, internal medication applying ointment, and gargle can be given in multiple symptomatic and rational ways, which is the optimal and most reasonable way to treat RAU.
