Objective To explore the role and effectiveness of incorporating personalized multimedia technology guidance in home care for ophthalmic patients. Method 60 home care patients who received relevant treatment in the ophthalmology department of our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into average groups using sampling method. 30 patients who mainly used personalized multimedia technology guidance were set as the experimental group; Set 30 patients who mainly choose normal nursing mode as the reference group, check the level of mastery of disease basic knowledge of the two groups of patients, analyze the various complications that occur during the nursing process, and finally calculate the satisfaction level of patients with different nursing modes. Result: After nursing, the experimental group patients were able to master certain basic knowledge related to the disease and were able to independently protect their eyes (P<0.05); It can effectively reduce the risk of complications during the treatment process, improve treatment safety, and contribute to later rehabilitation (P<0.05); Moreover, patients generally expressed a preference for the nursing mode they adopted, with a higher total satisfaction rate compared to the control group. After comparison, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: In clinical applications, using personalized multimedia technology to guide assisted home care can better treat ophthalmic patients and should be widely applied.
