Abstract
Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of PDCA management in the management of vascular catheter-associated infection in intensive care. Methods: A total of 102 patients with central venous catheterization in Intensive Care Department of our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as subjects of this study. The puncture vessels were all subclavian veins. 102 patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number grouping. The control group used conventional management methods; The observation group uses the PDCA management mode. The incidence of vascular catheter associated infection, ICU treatment time and hospital stay of the two groups were compared. Results: The observation group was better than the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: PDCA management can significantly improve the incidence of vascular catheter-related infection in intensive care patients. It is worth popularizing and applying to shorten the duration of ICU treatment and hospitalization.
