As a new international actor, the EUs internal economic model has always guided the formulation of its macro policies. As the country with the most rapid economic development within the EU, Germanys economic model has had a great influence on the construction of the EU economic model. In this paper, we systematically sort out the economic models among various countries within the EU and review the course of the establishment of the EU economic model. Through sorting out the viewpoints of the German model, we find that: the theoretical policy structure of the German mode, which combines jurisprudence and economics, provides an economic constitution for the EUs free market and society, the competition policy creates a level playing field, and the stability-oriented complementarity in the macroeconomic policy in three ways influence on the EU economic model and create the EU economic model.
