Objective To analyze the role of health care in early childhood development. Methods A total of 120 healthy children who received health care in our hospital from November 2019 to November 2022 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into study group (n=60 cases) and control group (n=60 cases). The control group received routine nursing, and the study group received health care. The motor, intelligence, neurodevelopmental, growth and parental satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no significant differences in movement, intelligence, neurological development and growth between the study group and the control group, with no statistical significance (P>0.05). After nursing, the MDI score and PDI score of the study group were higher than those of the control group; the height, weight, head circumference and chest circumference of the study group were higher than those of the control group; the gross motor score, fine motor score, cognitive score, language score and social behavior score of the study group were higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In early childhood development, giving health care can promote childrens motor and intellectual development, is beneficial to the development of nerves and body, and can also improve nursing satisfaction.
