In general, patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery may experience prolonged postoperative pain, which is very detrimental to their postoperative recovery. Therefore, postoperative pain management is particularly crucial for patients and has become an important part of perioperative management. Compared to open surgery, laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgery characterized by small incisions and mild incision pain. However, patients may still experience pain beyond the incision site after surgery, and it is still worth improving and delving deeper into methods for relieving pain for patients. Adopting suitable and scientific pain relief methods for patients with different causes of pain can effectively alleviate pain during switching, but attention should also be paid to the potential side effects and adverse reactions that related drugs may bring to patients. Therefore, this article briefly elaborates and analyzes the pain relief methods and the progress of analgesic drugs for some patients with postoperative pain after laparoscopic surgery. The main focus is on organizing recent research and literature reports to provide new ideas for postoperative pain relief methods in laparoscopic surgery.
