Objective: To study the effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion on lumbar disc herniation. Methods From January 2021 to January 2022, 104 patients who visited our department due to lumbar intervertebral disc herniation were selected for investigation. They were divided into 2 groups according to the treatment mode, and each group included 52 patients. They were named as the conventional group and the acupuncture group according to the treatment measures. The routine group was treated with Yaotongning Capsules, while the acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture. Summarize and explore the implementation effect of the two treatment programs. Results (1) The effective rate of treatment in the routine group was 80.77% compared with 98.08% in the acupuncture group, the former was lower than the latter, and the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05); (2) Before treatment, the routine group and the acupuncture group There was no significant difference in the JOA score results (P>0.05). After treatment, the JOA score of the routine group improved, compared with before treatment, and the difference was significant in the control group (P<0.05). Significantly, (P<0.05). After treatment, the JOA scores of the patients in the two groups improved, but the JOA scores of the routine group were compared with the JOA scores of the acupuncture group, and the scores of the acupuncture group were higher. Conclusion The effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture on lumbar disc herniation is ideal, and this program is worthy of clinical application and popularization.
