Objective: To observe the application effect of phased teaching mode in nursing teaching of traumatic orthopaedics. Methods: taking 25 nurses who practiced in the Department of Orthopaedics and trauma in our hospital from January to December 2019 as the control group, the traditional teaching method was adopted for nursing teaching. In addition, 32 nurses who practiced in the Department of Orthopaedics and trauma from January to December 2020 were selected as the observation group. The phased teaching mode was adopted in nursing teaching. The practice situation of the two groups of nursing students was compared, including the assessment results of theoretical knowledge and operation technology and the satisfaction of teaching. Results: the theoretical knowledge and technical performance of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (p<0.01). The teaching satisfaction of the observation group was 100.0%, significantly higher than that of the control group (80.0%, p<0.05). Conclusion: the implementation of phased teaching model in orthopaedic trauma nursing teaching can significantly improve the teaching effect and teaching satisfaction, which is worth popularizing.
