Objective To analyze the role of comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of snakeinjured patients with swollen limbs by external application of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods The researchwas carried out in combination with the way of comparative nursing observation. Thirty patients were included inthe study, which was carried out from January 2019 to May 2022. According to the double blind method, they weredivided into the control group （15 cases, regular nursing during treatment） and the observation group （15 cases,comprehensive nursing intervention）. To analyze the effect of nursing intervention in the two groups. Results Theimprovement of pain symptoms in the two groups during recovery was compared, and the pain degree in theobservation group was lower than that in the control group （P<0.05）. Compared the quality of life, detumescencetime and psychological state of the two groups in the recovery period, the observation group was significantlybetter than the control group （P<0.05）. Conclusion In the process of external application of traditional Chinesemedicine, timely comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the pain symptoms of patients withswelling of snake injured limbs, improve the quality of life of patients during recovery, promote the improvementof swelling symptoms in a short time, and help patients recover.
