Objective To further explore the application effect of western medicine pharmacy managementin order to effectively improve the clinical rational and standardized use of western medicine, reduce the incidenceof irrational events in clinical use, and ensure drug safety. Methods 200 patients who received western medicinetreatment in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. They weredivided into the control group managed by conventional pharmacy and the observation group managed by westernpharmacy (100 cases each) according to the order of patients treatment time. The data of the two groups werestudied from the time of drug use, drug use satisfaction, medical dispute rate, complication rate, and incidence rateof irrational drug use events. Results After the management of western medicine pharmacy, the incidence ofirrational events, complications and medical disputes in the observation group were significantly reduced, theduration of drug use was shorter, and the satisfaction of drug use was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The experimental value was obvious. Conclusion After the implementation of pharmacy management of westernmedicine for clinical use of western medicine, the rationality and standardization of clinical use of westernmedicine have been significantly improved, the time for patients to use western medicine has been shortened, theincidence of irrational drug use incidents has been reduced, the safety of drug use has been guaranteed, thesatisfaction of patients with drug use has been improved, the application effect is significant, and the value is good,further providing patients with an excellent drug use environment, and it is recommended that western medicine bewidely used in clinical practice.
