Objective To analyze the role of comfort nursing intervention in the process of oral outpatientcare. Methods The study was carried out in the form of comparative nursing observation. 76 patients who wereadmitted to our stomatological clinic from February 2021 to May 2022 were enrolled as subjects. The subjects weredivided into the control group (38 patients, carrying out routine outpatient care) and the observation group (38patients, carrying out comfort care) by double blind method. To analyze the nursing effect of the two groups ofpatients during the visit. Results According to the comfort scores of the two groups, the scores of the observationgroup were higher than those of the control group in terms of environment, social culture, psychology andphysiology (P<0.05). Compared with the two groups, the satisfaction of the observation group was significantlyhigher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The psychological status of the two groups during the visit wascompared. There was no difference in SDS and SAS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After intervention, the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). ConclusionComfortable nursing intervention can increase patients comfort in the process of treatment, enhance patientssatisfaction with nursing work in this area, and improve patients psychological state.
