Objective In order to shorten the hemostatic time of patients with non variceal gastrointestinal bleeding, reduce the amount of blood transfusion, and reduce the risk of rebleeding, to further explore the application effect of emergency gastroscopy, and to provide effective reference for clinical practice. Methods Retrospective analysis was made on 146 patients who received polypectomy in our hospital from January 2020 to September 2022. A total of 38 patients with non variceal gastrointestinal bleeding caused by postoperative bleeding were studied. They were divided into control group and observation group (19 patients in each group) according to random number table Hemostatic effect and rebleeding. Results The statistical study showed that after the two groups of patients adopted different treatment methods, the hemostatic time, blood transfusion volume and rebleeding rate of patients in the observation group treated by emergency gastroscope were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the total effective rate of hemostasis was higher than that in the control group. The data between groups were significantly different (P<0.05), indicating that there was a comparative significance. Conclusion The analysis shows that emergency gastroscopy treatment can significantly reduce the risk of rebleeding in patients with non variceal gastrointestinal bleeding, effectively improve the hemostatic effect of patients, shorten the hemostatic time, reduce the amount of blood transfusion, with significant therapeutic effect and good application value. It is suggested to vigorously promote the application of this treatment scheme.
