Objective In order to effectively improve the nursing quality of obstetrics and gynecology, improve the psychological state of patients, and improve nursing satisfaction, to further explore the application effect of health education, and to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods Retrospective analysis was made on 300 patients who received treatment in the department of obstetrics and gynecology in our hospital from January 2017 to June 2022. They were divided into control group and observation group (150 patients in each group) according to the order of receiving treatment. Results The statistical study showed that after the two groups of patients adopted different nursing methods, the nursing effect and SDS score of the observation group patients through health education nursing intervention measures were significantly better than those of the control group, the nursing satisfaction was higher, and the data between the groups were significantly different (P<0.05), indicating that there was a comparative significance. Conclusion The analysis shows that health education nursing can significantly improve the psychological status of patients in obstetrics and gynecology, effectively improve the quality of nursing service, improve nursing satisfaction, promote harmonious relationship between doctors and patients, achieve significant nursing effect, and have good application value. It is suggested that this nursing program be vigorously promoted.
