Objective To analyze the application effect of evidence-based nursing combined with healtheducation in the nursing management of hypertension patients. Methods 80 patients with hypertension received inour hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were randomly selected as the analysis objects. The selectedpatients were divided into two groups for nursing research by random number table method. The types of groupsincluded the observation group and the control group. The number of patients in each group was 40. The patients inthe control group were given routine nursing management, and the observation group was given evidence-basednursing combined with health education intervention. The final nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing, the results of each index in the two groups showed that the quality of nursing management,patients mastery of health knowledge, drug compliance and self-management ability in the observation group werehigher than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); The improvement effect of anxiety anddepression in the observation group was better than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05);The final blood pressure control effect and quality of life improvement effect of patients in the observation groupwere significantly improved compared with those in the control group, and the results between groups werestatistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Timely carrying out evidence-based nursing and health educationintervention for patients with hypertension can effectively enhance their awareness and medication compliancebehavior, thus ensuring that the blood pressure level of patients is controlled in the optimal range and improving thequality of life of patients.
