Objective To explore and analyze the specific causes of infection in tumor patients afterimplantation of intravenous infusion port. Methods The start time and end time of the study are February 2021 andMarch 2022, respectively. Under the influence of the random selection program edited by the computer, 105 tumorpatients who received treatment in our hospital during the above mentioned period were selected as the objects ofthis study. All patients participating in this study received corresponding clinical treatment through IVAP. The dataof patients with symptoms of infection in the process of receiving treatment were collected, and the relevant causesof symptoms of infection were analyzed accordingly. Results Among 105 tumor patients who were implanted atthe port of intravenous infusion in this study, 33 patients showed symptoms of infection, accounting for 31.43%.Comparison was made between patients with and without symptoms of infection. It was found that there weredifferences in operation duration, use time and frequency, diabetes history and body weight (P<0.05). ConclusionFor patients with tumor symptoms, the corresponding clinical treatment should be carried out through theimplantation of intravenous infusion port. The main factors for the occurrence of infection symptoms include aseries of situations such as the patients puncture site, disease type, time and frequency of using the implantationport of intravenous infusion, etc., which are also closely related to the actual situation of the patient. In clinic,patients need to be closely monitored to control the symptoms of infection during the use of infusion port.
