Dou CAI was a professional doctor for four generations, and then he met an old doctor in Guanzhong and studied as a teacher for three years. The book is composed of three volumes, bian Que Xin Shu, based on more than 40 years of clinical experience. Based on historical records and literature works of song Dynasty, this paper analyzes the historical background of dou CAIs fuyang thought and further summarizes the clinical characteristics of Dou CAIs acupuncture and moxibustion in Bian Que Xin Shu. The study found that the sudden cooling of the weather, the drinking habit of "guests are also drunk" and the influence of Taoism culture may be the main reasons for doucais fuyang thought, and found that the characteristics of moxibustion include moxibustion reinforcing acupuncture and catharsis, moxibustion based on syndrome differentiation and moxibustion based on anesthesia. It is of great value for clinical practice to comprehensively understand the characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion of sinuses with fuyang thought as the core.
