Objective To explore the value of hospital - community integrated prevention and care for severe psychiatric patients. Methods A total of 50 patients with severe mental illness admitted between February 2020 and February 2021 were selected to participate in the study, and all patients received integrated hospital-community preventive care. The improvement rate, daily behavior improvement (social activity participation rate, accident and disaster rate, medication compliance rate) and clinical indicators (CGI and daily living ability score) were compared before and after nursing to evaluate the effect of prevention and treatment. Results After hospital-community integrated prevention and treatment nursing, patients medication compliance rate, social participation rate and disease improvement rate were higher than before nursing, and the accident rate was lower than before nursing, the difference was very significant (P < 0.05). The CGI index after nursing was better than before nursing, and the daily living ability score was higher than before nursing, the difference was very significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The hospital-community integrated prevention and treatment nursing has high value for the prevention and treatment effect of severe psychiatric patients, can improve medication compliance and daily living ability, improve the condition, let patients actively participate in social activities, reduce the rate of accidents, promote the harmonious development of society.
