Objective To explore and analyze the effect of general practice nursing in community healthservice centers on the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases. Methods A total of 150 elderlypatients with chronic diseases admitted to our community health service center from January 2021 to March 2022were selected as the research objects. A total of 150 patients were randomly divided into control group andobservation group by computerized blind selection. The control group received routine nursing intervention. Theobservation group adopted general practice nursing mode for intervention. The quality of life was comparedbetween the control group and the observation group. Results After nursing intervention, the observation group wassignificantly better than the control group in terms of quality of life (P < 0.05), and the difference was statisticallysignificant. Conclusion In the process of intervention for elderly patients with chronic diseases, the use of generalpractice nursing model for intervention can effectively improve the quality of life of elderly patients with chronicdiseases, and has excellent effects in the process of practical application, which is worthy of further promotion andapplication.
