Objective To explore the value of whole process nursing cooperation in the treatment of senile cataract patients. Methods 60 elderly cataract patients who were treated in the ophthalmology department of our hospital from December 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. According to the method of parity balance, the patients were divided into two groups, namely the reference group (n = 30) and the nursing group (n = 30). The two groups of patients were intervened by different nursing methods, the reference group was intervened by routine ophthalmic nursing, and the nursing group was intervened by whole process nursing cooperation. After that, the self-care ability, intraocular pressure value and clinical treatment effect of the two groups were compared before and after nursing. Results after nursing intervention, the clinical nursing effect of the patients in the nursing group was better, and the score of quality of life was better than that in the reference group. The vision of the patients in the nursing group was better than that in the reference group, the intraocular pressure was lower than that in the reference group, and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the reference group. Conclusion through the effective implementation of the whole process nursing, the visual acuity level of elderly patients is improved, the intraocular pressure of elderly patients is reduced, the incidence of postoperative abnormal symptoms is reduced, the bad mood of patients is alleviated, the rehabilitation speed of patients is accelerated, and the quality of life of patients is improved to a certain extent, which is worthy of promotion.
