Shan Gao, who majored in bioinformatics, is currently an associate professor at the College of Life Sciences, Nankai University. As of March 26, 2025, he has published over 90 academic papers, including 60 that are indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI) and 7 in the Engineering Index (EI). These publications cover a wide range of research areas, such as plants, animals, bacteria, viruses, cancer, proteins, RNA, and genomics. His current research interest lies in utilizing high-throughput omics data analysis to address fundamental questions in biological sciences.
