个人简介
Zheng-Yun Zhuang currently works as a full faculty at Department of Civil Engineering, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST). His academic experience includes assistant professorship at Graduate Institute of Data Science, College of Management, Taipei Medical University, the post-doctoral fellowship at Faculty of Science and Technology, Universidade de Macau, and Instructor and Ph.D. co-supervisor at City College and School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University.
学术贡献
近年的研究成果，主要範圍有：
(1) 作業研究 (OR) 與多評準決策 (MCDM) 之方法論及其應用 (因研究問題之需要，多目標MODM、多屬性MADM兩方面均有著墨) 大分類、與
(2) 大數據與數驅決策 (DDDM) 在實例上之方法突破及應用類研究的大分類。
近年較有心得的方面可能是：從社會的角度所實施的觀察中，找出目前尚未或較少被研究過、但有意義的問題，設法收集資料並根據其資料找到適合之方法、並將這些方法使用在分析或求解問題上的研究。由於其中某些研究，是針對現有各階段 (或各種) 適當方法加以融合 (如把大數據分析原有方法融合進原有決策方法、形成新的數驅決策方法等)，另一些研究，則因無法找到適當方法而保持 “自行發展方法” (如決策模型建立及數學推導)；整體來說，已從過去 “基礎類研究60%、應用類研究40%” 跨向當今 “基礎類研究40%、應用類研究60%”。
由於這些因為應用需要而產生 “原有方法融合出新方法”、或 “直接發展新模型或方法” 的工作，使得基礎類研究於近年仍有所突破。故前開所列的5篇代表性研究成果論文，各篇成果將偏重基礎學術研究價值與解決重要實務或實際社會面問題兩方面論述，並充分体現了與其他成果的鏈接性。
