Objective To analyze and summarize the operation and countermeasures of the emergency department of our hospital during COVID-19 prevention and control. Methods Understand the changes of the working environment and the treatment process of the emergency department of our hospital from December 2019 to December 2021, analyze the psychological state of the patients, according to the SAS score and SDS score, understand the emotional state of the medical staff at work, and compare it with the status of the medical staff in the ward. Results The diagnosis and treatment environment in the emergency department of our hospital has changed greatly, the treatment process is more complicated, the probability of patients fear, anxiety and other emotions during the treatment has greatly increased, and the medical staff also have psychological problems to varying degrees. The hospital implements countermeasures to make the daily work of the emergency department proceed normally. Conclusion The work of the emergency department of our hospital is greatly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. During this period, the hospital needs to take active and effective measures to respond, pay attention to the mental health of medical staff and patients, and ensure the smooth progress of daily work.
