【 Abstract 】Objective To study the effect of continuing motivational interviewing after discharge to the treatment compliance of rehabilitation schizophrenia. Methods A total of 82 cases of schizophrenia patients were selected in March 2014 to March 2017 in our hospital as the research object, and were divided into the experimental group (41 cases) and the control group (41 cases),using the random number table method, All of the two groups received the motives of hospitalization at the time of admission interview and conventional propaganda and education, while the experimental group continuing motivational interviewing after discharge, the control group with conventional telephone follow-up after discharge, respectively collected compliance data of patients in admitted to hospital and discharged after 1 month, 3 months, 6 months. Results The medication adherence difference of the two groups has no statistical significance in one month after discharge (P > 0.05). 3 months and 6 months after hospital discharge, the medication compliance rate in the experimental group is 92.68% and 95.12%, respectively, significantly higher than the same period in the control group (75.61%, 70.73%) (P < 0.05); Medication adherence score in the experimental group at 3 months and 6 months after discharge was also significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05);To participate in social activities, timely follow-up after discharge from hospital, the recurrence rate, and satisfaction in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusions Continuing motivational interviewing for the compliance of rehabilitation schizophrenia after discharge has great significance, strong pertinence, easy to accept, and suitable to carry out, and has better long-term outcome in improving the compliance of schizophrenia patients outside.
