Objective: To review the negative effects on patients during psychotherapy.Source: in pubmed, search for articles related to "psychotherapy, side effects" during 2009-10/2017-10.Meanwhile, in China zhiwang database, the key words are "psychological treatment and side effects" during the period of 2009-10/2017-10. And consult relevant books by hand in the school library.Data selection: the results of the retrieval were first reviewed, and the relevant literature on the side effects of psychological treatment were selected for nearly 8 years, and repeated literatures were deleted, and the remaining literature was searched for full text.Inclusion of literature criteria: a study of psychotherapy.A study on the side effects of psychotherapy.Exclusion criteria: repeated studies in the literature.Data extraction: a total of 167 literature on the negative effects of psychotherapy, excluding repetition and similar studies, included 26 articles.Data synthesis: the development of medical treatment, people can better treat some of the organ qualitative lesions, also has the higher call for psychological treatment. The growing demand for psychological services and the emergence of psychotherapists have led to more professional psychological guidance and a healthier lifestyle. However, the negative effects of psychotherapy are often overlooked in the treatment of psychotherapists and visitors. As with medication, psychotherapy cant avoid the side effects of the treatment. In the face of such side effects, if psychologists are to avoid further injury to visitors, if they want to minimize the negative or iatrogenic effects of their treatment. So, to understand these negative effects, to study the causes of these negative effects, to strengthen the monitoring in the treatment process, to implement more individualized psychological intervention is necessary.
