Objective To study the mental health states of physicians and nurses working at COVID-19 area and to provide psychological information. Methods The SCL-90 was used to evaluate the mental health of physicians and nurses at COVID-19 area and analyze the factors. Result The total scores of physicians and nurses in 103 cases, and the scores of somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and anxiety factors were higher than that of Chinas adult norm. Female scores, and the scores of obsessive-compulsive symptoms and anxiety factors were all higher than those of men. The scores of obsessive-compulsive factor in 35-44 year-old group and 45-52 year-old group were significantly higher than those in the 25-34 year-old group. The scores of anxiety factors in the 35-44 age group increased significantly. The scores of obsessive-compulsive symptoms and anxiety factors in the nurse group were higher than those in the doctor group; The scores of somatization in the senior professional title group were higher than those in the intermediate professional title group, while the scores of obsessive-compulsive symptoms and anxiety in the intermediate professional title group were higher than those in the senior professional title group; 88 cases were abnormal in the evaluation of diet and sleep. Conclusion To evaluate mental health states should be strengthened of physicians and nurses working at COVID-19 area, and pay more attention to the mental health problems of physicians and nurses.
