[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effect of mindfulness decompression combined with music relaxation on hope level, psychological distress and cancer-related fatigue of rectal cancer patients with permanent colostomy. Methods: from February 2020 to February 2021, 90 cases of rectal cancer patients with permanent stoma in our hospital were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group based on the time of admission. The two groups were given basic nursing intervention during hospitalization, and the observation group was combined with mindfulness decompression and music relaxation method on this basis, and the results of the two groups were compared. Results: before the intervention, there was no difference in the score of hope level and psychological pain degree between the two groups (P > 0.05). After the intervention, the score of hope level in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the score of psychological pain degree in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the number of patients with no fatigue and mild fatigue in the observation group was more than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the implementation of music relaxation and mindfulness decompression in patients with rectal cancer permanent colostomy can improve the level of hope of patients, reduce the degree of cancer-related fatigue and psychological pain, and has significant application value.
