Contemporary Nursing

Patients in psychiatric department have particularity, which is easy to bring harm and threat to themselves and medical staff. Nurses should have strong first-aid skills in the process of nursing, so as to timely and effectively control nursing risk events and serious consequences, and create a safe treatment and nursing environment for patients.However, from a practical point of view, there are still some problems in the first aid skills of psychiatric nurses, which need to be studied and solved. This paper intends to discuss this problem and summarize the coping strategies, hoping to provide reference for further optimizing and improving the first-aid skills of psychiatric nurses.
