Objective: To explore the effect of high-quality nursing combined with parents health education nursing in the nursing of children with acute gastroenteritis. Methods: 69 children with acute gastroenteritis treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine nursing (34 cases) and the study group received high-quality nursing combined with parental health education (35 cases). The differences of parental satisfaction, diarrhea stop time, abdominal pain disappearance time, vomiting stop time and hospitalization time were analyzed. Results: the satisfaction of parents in the study group was 97.14% (34 / 35) and that in the control group was 82.35% (28 / 34), with significant difference (P < 0.05); The stopping time of diarrhea, the disappearance time of abdominal pain, the stopping time of vomiting and the length of hospital stay in the study group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: high quality nursing combined with parents health education can promote the rehabilitation of children with acute gastroenteritis, which is worthy of clinical application.
