Objective: To study the efficacy and safety of LED red light irradiation in the treatment of herpes zoster neuralgia. Methods: 100 patients with postherpetic neuralgia treated in our hospital from January 2022 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into control group (50 cases) and red light treatment group (50 cases). The patients in the red light treatment group received conventional drug treatment, and the patients in the red light treatment group received LED red light treatment on the basis of conventional drug treatment, The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared, and the results of the comparison and the clinical data of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed. Results: the curative effect of red light treatment group was 45 (90.00%) higher than that of control group 37 (74.00%) (P < 0.05); The incidence of adverse reactions in the red light treatment group was 1 (2.00%) lower than that in the control group 8 (16.00%), P < 0.05. Conclusion: Herpes zoster disease is a viral skin disease caused by varicella-herpes zoster virus infection, and the disease can involve the sensory nerve and the corresponding skin areas, while. the treatment of herpes zoster neuralgia with drugs and red light is effective and safe.
