Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing on burn patients during dressing change. Methods 100 burn patients admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022, including 46 female patients and 54 male patients, were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, including 50 patients in control group and 50 patients in experimental group. For the patients in the control group, the routine nursing mode was adopted, and for the patients in the experimental group, the psychological nursing mode was adopted. The scores of visual analog scale (VAS), self rating Depression Scale (SDS) and self rating nursing satisfaction scale were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results the VAS scores and SDS scores of the patients in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the patients in the control group. The scores of the self-assessment form of nursing satisfaction of the patients in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the patients in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion psychological nursing can effectively reduce the degree of pain, relieve the patients bad mood, improve the patients nursing satisfaction, and help the patients recover.
