Objective: To explore the influence of out-of-hospital continuous nursing on patients with nasopharyngeal cancer chemotherapy. Methods: A total of 80 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma who were admitted to the undergraduate department from September 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and their clinical data were improved. Patients were divided into control group (n=40) and observation group (n=40) by blind selection method. Both groups received chemotherapy intervention and had discharge criteria. Patients in the control group were followed up by telephone, regularly come to the hospital for examination and treatment after discharge. Observation group patients in the control group on the basis of continuing nursing intervention outside the hospital. Patients psychological status (anxiety score, depression score) and quality of life were assessed 3 months after discharge with follow-up. Results: The scores of anxiety and depression in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The score of quality of life in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Continuing nursing intervention for nasopharyngeal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy can improve their bad mood and quality of life.
