Objective: To discuss the value of acupuncture point patch nursing in patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs. Methods: From December 2020 to December 2021, 68 patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs in the hospital were included in the scope of the study, and the random allocation method was divided into two groups- the control group (the patient received routine basic nursing work) and the observation group (the patient received acupuncture point patch nursing work), and the two groups of unimpeded bowel movement, poor defecation and poor defecation were collected and comprehensively analyzed. Results: The incidence of defecation in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of defecation was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of poor defecation between the two groups (P>0.05). The stool time of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The nursing work of acupuncture point patch in patients with constipation caused by antipsychotic drugs can promote smooth defecation and effectively reduce the rate of constipation.
