Objective To explore the effect of hospice care on patients with malignant tumor in late stage. Methods the researchers selected the time from February 2021 to March 2022. All patients were selected from the oncology department of the hospital and randomly divided into the study group to provide humanized hospice care for the patients, and the control group to provide routine cancer care. The average number of patients in each group was 30. The nursing effect of patients in the comparison group was compared. Results the scores of body, cognition, role and social function of tumor patients in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the overall health status of the patients was also better than that in the control group (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in the scores of various scales of the patients before the intervention. After the intervention, the scores of pain, anxiety and depression in the study group were significantly reduced; The scores of cancer- related fatigue in the two groups were similar before the intervention of nursing measures. After the intervention, the cognitive, physical and emotional fatigue of the patients in the study group were lower than those in the control group. Conclusion in the late stage of malignant tumor treatment, hospice care for patients can effectively improve bad mood and relieve stress and pain.
